Finnish Confused Genius Studios makes their debut on Steam with the top-down shooter Xenocide – a game about customising your load-out with various weapons and power-ups to survive against endless hordes of enemies.
“Adjusting your load-out to personalise each run is what keeps the game fresh”, says the game’s lead designer James Woodham. “With Xenocide we aim to bring back some “old school” with the top-down perspective, but with some “new school” features (too) such as isometric graphics, gear customisation and co-op play – which we highly recommend.”

Greenlit on Steam in a short 40 days, the Xenocide team consists mainly of students working on their first game development project.
