Danish game studio Playwood Projects has launched a 55,000 GBP Kickstarter campaign to fund further development of their upcoming medieval fantasy/strategy game Wartile.
Reflecting the developer’s passion for tabletop games, Wartile features massive battles in relatively small and enclosed environments. Kickstarter funds are to be used primarily for animation improvements and scaling of the game.
“We’ve been hard at work for the last two years, and now we feel ready to reveal Wartile to the world!” says Michael Rud Jakobsen, creative director at Playwood Project.

Wartile is set for release in March 2017, with a Steam Early Access version slated for September 2016. Learn more about the project on the Nordic Game Funding website here.
