Now is the time to act if you plan to apply for funding from the EU’s Creative Europe program for your next game development project.
Funding is available for the development of innovative narrative games intended for commercial distribution. European game developers with previous experience are eligible to apply for support, which range from 10,000 – 150,000 euros.
“Creative Europe will help tens of thousands of culture and audiovisual professionals to reach new audiences in Europe and beyond and to break into new markets,” explains Maciej Szymanowicz, who works with the Creative Europe program in the European Commission. “The investment from the EU also supports development of video games, which offer a unique combination of artistic creativity, technological innovation and business skills.”
Deadline for applications to Creative Europe is 26 March.
