The Nordic Game Discovery Contest returns to Cape Town, South Africa on 5 December for the eighth qualifier on the Season IV tour.
Last year saw South African studio QCF Design clinch their qualifier at Make Games Africa with their action arcade game Drawkanoid, to later go on to the finals in Malmö and win the top prize – NGDC Season III Game of the Year.
Now merged with the Playtopia festival, Playtopia/Make Games Africa celebrates South Africa’s diverse game development and immersive arts community, inspiring the next generation of creators, gamers and enthusiasts.
