Swedish Bridgeside Interactive won the Nordic Game 2016 Indie Sensation Award. Handed out at the NG16 Indie Showcase, as the highlight of the last night of this year’s Nordic Game conference, their game Clapper received well-earned applause from the audience.
Another big round of applause for the winner – Clapper, by Bridgeside Interactive!
Clapper is all about fun for the whole family, with a focus on children. Clapper introduces music and rhythm in new, amusing and interesting ways never seen before; and with four different difficulty levels, Clapper suits both beginners and rhythm game veterans.
Other nominees for the Indie Sensation Award 2016 included Wartile, by Playwood Project (Denmark), Figment, by Bedtime Digital Games (Denmark), Klang, by Tinimations (Norway), Fugl, by Team Fugl (Norway), Through the Woods, by Antagonist (Norway), ClusterTruck, by LandFall Games (Sweden) and Neon Chrome, by 10tons (Finland).
For the first time ever, the Indie Sensation Award also had its very own award show on 20 May, as part of the new Indie Day & Showcase format at Nordic Game 2016. Delegates at NG16 were able to play all the nominated games during the conference and vote for their favorites and in the end, Clapper was the one that took most of the votes.
Thank you!
Nordic Game 2016 would like to thank our Indie Day & Showcase co-organisers Copenhagen Game Collective, sponsors Ixty and Unity, as well as NG16 delegates and Indie Day attendees, not to mention the hard-working indie devs from the Nordic region and abroad that made it all possible. See you again next year!
