Finnish developer Colossal Order exited the big winner at this year’s Finnish Game Awards, held in Helsinki last Thursday evening.
The studio’s popular sim Cities: Skylines won 2015 awards for “Finnish Game of the Year” and “Big Screen Game of the Year”, as well as the people’s choice prize “Kyöpeli” from Finnish specialist magazine Pelit.
Colossal Order was praised as a small indie team succeeding in a game genre dominated by major international publishers.
Cities: Skylines is also among the nominees for “Nordic Game of the Year” at the upcoming Nordic Game Awards.
