Two Champions of Mobile talks at Devcom
Nordic Game is now bringing two Champions of Mobile talks to Devcom, the new game developer’s conference being held in conjunction with Gamescom in Cologne, Germany on 20-24 August.

Make sure not to miss the following great insights into mobile game creation at Devcom this August:

“Launching Diggy’s Adventure on Mobile”

Long story short, Pixel Federation tripled DAU and monthly revenues after launching Diggy’s Adventure for iOS and Android. The developer spent one million EUR a month on paid user acquisition during the global launch, and made over five million EUR in less than three months. Cool, right? But why should you care? Because not every game in the App Store is a “hit”. Diggy is Pixel Federation’s mobile hit, but in terms of numbers, it’s far from games like Pokémon Go or Clash Royale. So your game doesn’t have to be a hit to be profitable.

“WTH?! Soft-launched & Self-published!”

Impossible? How can a mobile game start-up soft-launch and publish its first game in today’s overcrowded mobile app stores? “The Monkeys” will share a lot of data about their key insights and biggest fails from over two years of developing What The Hen!, soft-launching and self-publishing the game using influencer marketing as the main channel. Take-away: Tips and tricks for soft-launching and self-publishing plus insights into influencer marketing.
