Swedish VR studio Resolution Games has now localised their popular VR fishing game Bait! for several European countries including Germany, Spain, Italy and France.
Spanning four different lake settings, Bait! provides a diverse, story-driven experience with visually rich environments and plenty of fish to collect throughout. Available on the Oculus VR Store for Samsung Gear VR, the fishing sim has seen over 500,000 downloads to date.
“It’s very exciting to see so much interest in a single game this early in the evolution of VR,” said Tommy Palm, CEO and co-founder of Resolution Games. “The first consumer devices are just now hitting the shelves with consumer and market interest steadily impressing us and driving us to keep pushing the limits and setting new standards for VR.”

Resolution Games also plans to launch a new fishing destination within Bait!, including several more fish species for virtual anglers to pursue, and further localised versions for global audiences.
Bait! is free-to-play and available for Samsung Gear VR users in the Oculus VR Store – learn more on the game’s Facebook page here.
