Norwegian developer Fifth Season is running a campaign to get AD2460, their sci-fi strategy browser-based MMO game, available on Steam. Steam has a huge community of players, and in this way Fifth Season is also hoping to increase AD2460’s fan-base.
The campaign is already active and currently gathering votes to take the game through to the top 100 games on Steam Greenlight – as of now, AD2460 is nearing the halfway mark.
Being a browser game, the only way to make AD2460 available on Steam is to create a browser client specifically designed to run the game, making it look and operate in every way like a downloaded game. But the studio wants to emphasise that this will in no way affect players on browsers – the AD2460 gaming experience will remain the same for everyone!

Game updates are also being rolled out in parallel with the Steam campaign; AD2460 has already had four major upgrades since the game launched last December.
