Slovenian Games Conference (SGC) will host the third qualifier for this year’s edition of the Nordic Game Discovery Contest.
The qualifying round of this season’s contest will take place as part of SGC on 30 September in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The winner will earn a place in the Nordic Game Discovery Contest Finals at next year’s Nordic Game Conference, 23-25 May 2018.
“It’s great to have the Nordic Game Discovery Contest as part of SGC this year. Giving a chance and helping our local developers has always been the goal of our event and we feel this is the right step for doing so,” says Slovenian Games Conference organiser Crtomir Drofenik. “We are immensely grateful to Nordic Game for accepting us as part of their tour and we want to invite developers to join us and show off the awesome games they are working on!”
“This second season of the Discovery Contest just keeps on expanding, and we’re very much looking forward to meeting the gaming scene in Slovenia,” adds Nordic Game program director Jacob Riis. “We hope to see a lot of exciting projects entering the contest and battling on stage!”
Are you going to SGC, and do you have a game project which deserves to be discovered? Deadline for submissions is 8 September, and info about the conference, including the link to the submission page below, will be up and running from Friday 11 August, right here.
