Danish Reto-Moto, the fast growing game studio behind the WW2 PC game Heroes & Generals and formed by the founders of the Hitman series, has appointed Jean-Marc Broyer as CEO. Former chief executive Martin Pollas will continue to contribute to the company’s success in a new role.
Prior to his appointment at Reto-Moto, Jean-Marc Broyer led development and gaming operations at Swedish Gaming Corps. Involved with digital game development for two decades, he has worked with leading developers and publishers such as Amazon Game Studios, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. on such diverse titles as Shadowbane, Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, FIFA, Batman: Arkham City and a number of social mobile titles including Injustice: Gods Among Us.
”We are proud to present Jean-Marc as the CEO to take Reto-Moto to its next phase, after the successful launch of Heroes & Generals last year,” says Reto-Moto board chairman Michael Vad. “Heroes & Generals is expanding internationally, with the vast majority of the millions of registered players from outside Scandinavia. Jean-Marc has the experience and profile we need for the continued growth of our company and game.”
“Reto-Moto has great potential, and I am honored to be given the opportunity to lead the company into the next phase of its expansion,” adds Jean-Marc Broyer. “I am looking very much forward to working with the team. We will strive to always put the players first, as one team. With a relentless focus on our players and a drive to challenge ourselves and take bold decisions, there is no limit to greatness.”
