The MENA Games Conference (MEGA), the leading digital games conference for the Middle East and North Africa, is where international and regional gaming professionals can share information and build partnerships.
The second annual MEGA event, 7-8 April at the Mar Mikhael historical train station in Beirut, Lebanon, will welcome more than 40 speakers to explore and discuss the development of games for local Arabic audiences, the expansion and investment opportunities for international companies and the value of strong, collaborative relationships between the MENA companies and global firms – and much more.
For local companies it is a platform to establish and grow the gaming ecosystem of the region, as well as benefit from the international participants’ knowledge and expertise to globally expand and develop. For overseas companies, meeting local industry players – from games developers and publishers to media and communication organisations – will help in accessing product localisation and gathering insights into the MENA market.
What’s new for 2016?
This year’s speaker roster includes leading industry professionals like Ubisoft’s Brie Code, Fawzi Mesmar from King/Activation Blizzard and Paradox Interactive’s Tomas Härenstam, among many others.
