Nordic Game is pleased to announce that leading games industry news website GamesIndustry.biz is partnering with Nordic Game 2017. The GamesIndustry.biz editorial team will be curating a speaker track across all three days of the event, May 17-19 in Malmö, Sweden. In addition, the companies will be cementing a long-standing and mutually beneficial history of editorial ties with extended coverage of, and presence at, the show itself.
This year’s Nordic Game conference will be the fourteenth annual gathering of the region’s finest developers, publishers and industry pioneers. As well as bringing together the cream of the Nordic and European industry, Nordic Game has rapidly extended its reach beyond the local region to every corner of the globe, bringing together speakers and attendees from the highest levels of the worldwide games economy.
Similarly, GamesIndustry.biz has worked hard to broaden its respected media brand to encompass a truly international audience by building its world-class editorial team and growing its presence at other Gamer Network events such as EGX and Rezzed. In addition to producing the highest quality writing and analysis, the site is intent on expanding its global footprint even further with its own bespoke events and by forming partnerships with premium industry brands like the Nordic Game conference.
By joining forces, both companies will be able to offer even more to their respective communities and bring the benefits of both brands to a wider audience.
“Long a staple of the European industry calendar, the Nordic Game conference offers a premium opportunity to reach the most influential and talented people working in games today,” said GamesIndustry.biz European editor Dan Pearson. “By collaborating on a speaker track at this year’s show, GamesIndustry.biz recognises the impact of the conference and potential of our two industry leading brands to create even more value together. We’ve worked closely with Erik, Jacob and their team for over a decade, but I’m truly excited about the possibilities facilitated by this closer partnership.”
“We’re very excited to announce this expansion of our existing and very strong partnership,” added Nordic Game program director Jacob Riis. “GamesIndustry.biz has been a media partner of the Nordic Game conference since 2006, and as Europe’s largest industry media brand it has helped us tremendously in growing our event from local to global. Now is the perfect time for expanding our cooperation. Can’t wait to show the results at NG17.”
If you’re interested in sponsoring the GamesIndustry.biz speaker track at this year’s conference, please contact Charlotte Nangle here or Teddy Florea here. If you would like to submit a talk for consideration in the GamesIndustry.biz speaker track, contact Dan Pearson here.
