BLAST Pro Series organiser RFRSH Entertainment will launch a new tournament format in Copenhagen’s Royal Arena in November, where more than 10,000 fans will follow six of the world’s best CS:GO teams competing live in group stage matches and a same day grand final.
The new BLAST Pro Series format is designed to give the audience an even better experience, by opening up decisive group stage matches in the main arena.
The main event in Copenhagen on 25 November will be followed by a US tournament next year, where invited teams primarily will be North and South American top teams.
“The BLAST Pro Series has (garnered) a lot of attention, and in connection with the launch in Copenhagen, we will host representatives from more than 20 cities, all interested in experiencing the latest live format within esports,” says RFRSH Entertainment CEO Nikolaj Nyholm. “We are in dialogue with a number of cities including Miami, New York, Austin and others, and are looking forward to presenting the BLAST Pro Series in the US in early 2018.”
