In the meantime, here's some pictures from some great april 2010 days in Sweden (download in high res here). See you next year!

Nordic Game 2010 took place in the beautiful venue of Slagthuset in central Malmø. Among the speakers were Jason Della Rocca, Perimeter Partners, and Kristian Segerstråle, Playfish. On the expo floor delegates could network and try out some of the many Nordic games available.
The day before the main conference saw the birth of a new Nordic Game tradition - The Nordic Game Indie Night. Six of the most prominent indie developers from the region gathered to present and discuss some of their creations, to the sound of cool music and the taste of cold beer. The day after was kick-off for the conference, and delegates met in the entrance hall to gear up.

Fred Hasson of Games Capital Ltd. moderated several panels on day 1 - here it's the entrepreneurs' panel giving advice to the audience. In another room at the same time, film and games people met for the Nordic Cultural Forum to discuss how the two creative industries can work together.

Nordic Game Awards 2010 took place during the delegate dinner on the first night of the conference. Everyone attending the conference were invited, and while they relaxed, some of this years' best Nordic games were awarded.

NORDIC GAME SUPPORT FOR GC LYON 2009
Nordic Game and Game Connection (www.game-connection.com) have set up a deal that offers an excellent opportunity for Nordic developers to attend one of the most intense business and networking events in the industry taking place 8-11 December.
Nordic Game will support up to 25 Nordic companies heading for Game Connection with 500 Euro pr. company. The support will be paid out afterwards through an invoice sent to Nordic Game from the subsidized company.
The support will be given on a first come basis, so please contact Emma Mellander on emma@nordicgame.com asap to apply.
Background
: Game Connection has been growing every year since it started in 2001 – this partly due to its unique format of business-to-business speed-dating and pre-screened meeting allowing up to 45 meetings scheduled in the month prior to the event – this year taking place the 8-11 December.
Back in 2008 over 150 developers and over 100 publishers and service buyers from more than 35 countries participated the event. At this moment the number of registered attendees is even higher than at the same time last year – everything points towards an even bigger and busier business-event.
