Finnish 10tons Ltd. has unveiled JYDGE, their upcoming top-down twin stick shooter for PC and consoles.
Set in the same universe as the studio’s 2016 hit Neon Chrome, JYDGE sees the player assume the role of a cybernetically enhanced law enforcement unit eradicating rampant crime in the futuristic metropolis of “Edenbyrg”.
Check out the reveal trailer:
“While Neon Chrome has been a great success for us, we quickly learned that procedurally generated levels and roguelike elements are not for everyone,” says 10tons CEO Tero Alatalo. “We’ve built JYDGE specifically for people preferring a carefully hand-crafted yet highly customisable top-down shooter. We call this a ‘roguehate’ game.”
JYDGE is slated for release for PC via Steam, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles in Q4 2017. Learn more about the game at www.jydge.com.
